Nathan & Kristen: May 17, 2008 (Vintage Villas)

The wedding day began with a few drops of rain…but, as Kristen descended down the aisle towards her Nathan…the sun shot through the clouds. The mood was quiet and sweet. There we big smiles and cheers as the two kissed at just before 8:00pm. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Nathan & Kristen joined the married circuit.

The reception hall was dressed in creams and Granny Smith Apple green. The mood was festive and the dance floor stayed crowded most of the night! Kristen looked just heavenly in her white gown and Nathan was dapper as ever!

Sparklers send the couple off to, as they put it,”Make you people some nieces and nephews!”

Assisting with Sledd Photography….. May 18, 2008

Assisting with Sledd Photography is just a blast! This was a gorgeous wedding at Austin’s Mercury Hall. The room was crisp in white wall, with robin’s egg blue accents on the sweet round tables. Birds, flowers, photographs and bells accent the centerpieces. The outside was sunny and warm. The little kids ran around and played in the water features. The feeling was kind and simple…and the atmosphere was pure elegance. Just a delight!

Brady Flanigan: I’m Soooooooo Big May 11, 2008

Beachside Family Portrait

My first location shoot! The Flanigan family on the beach of Port Aransas, TX! This is the first session in their 4-session package entitled “I’m Sooooooo Big”. This package will span over the next 11 months and capture Brady in different stages through his first year.

The final compilation will be presented on a wrap canvas or the collection will be placed into a 5×5 leather album. I am looking forward to seeing Brady grow and change throughout the next year. He is a sweetie! My husband took photos while I was shooting…for the blog’s sake! So enjoy the little movie here at the end!
