Hello, all! My name is Hannah Day-Allison and I am a true-blue Austinite! A rare find in this awesome city of Austin, TX! I am a photographer, fighting my way into the Art scene of this hip city. I am a recent graduate from The Art Institute of Chicago and an alumni of Austin Community College’s Photography Program. My passion with photography has been with me since I was 8 and bought my first camera at a garage sale. I love to catch life in its most absurd and humorous moments with bright colors, punchy blacks and funky flare!
My true talents come to light in my baby and toddler photography. I have this zany connection with kids…I’ve been a babysitter/nanny off and on for over 10 years and all of my experiences have been the same…KIDS LOVE ME! My goal is to really get a focus going with my portraiture. One cool route I’ve found facilitate in this scrapbook craze. I want to photograph birthday parties, baptisms, elementary school graduations…the great moments that piece together our years. After each event, I would edit…retouch…and present you with a hard-bound book of your special day!
Maternity sessions are a treat for me to shoot! There is this energy with mothers who aren’t afraid to show off what beautiful baby bumps! Revealing your prego-belly isn’t taboo anymore…instead it is being embraced by all different parts of society. There is a wonderful trend to celebrate and cherish those 9 months of belly bliss! And when you get fathers and kids involved…it is an amazing couple of hours!
