It was hot, but the Vadens (newly weds) pushed through the heat and created some beautiful images with me! I can not thank you two enough!

A quick session with Danny & Cheryl left a smile on everyone’s face! They are such a sweet couple. I just needed a couple of shots, following our pre-wedding lunch to use on the info bookmarks at the wedding. (standard included treat for all my wedding clients)
Enjoy!
“Can’t wait for the big day, Danny & Cheryl!”
The afternoon was quiet. Annemarie and her sisters milled around the Bridal room as Evan greeted guests out front in Round Rock , TX on October 18, 2008. Annemarie announces she is ready. As Evan stands, with his back towards her in the rear garden…she moves across the rocky path. She arrives behind him and he turns….what a sweet moment. Evan’s words are lost at the sight of Annemarie in her jewel-toned gown.
The ceremony was illuminated by the reflection of sunshine on the Texas stone. Vows were exchanged and the family blessed the new couple.
The celebration continued at Gumbo’s . The scene was perfect. The food was wonderful. The music divine.
Best Wishes, Annemarie & Evan!!

At the UT Club on a beautiful day in early “Fall” we find the preperation for Christie & Jeffrey’s wedding! Lanterns are hung, tables are set and the Longhorns kick-off in just a sec. The day started-off at Christie’s parent’s house with lakeside portraits…and then moved to the UT club where the men were waiting for the big moment. The vows were spoken at sunset….then, the celebration began! Dancing was the theme…with shades of chocolate and teal blooming all around. The setting was a perfect mix of elegance and rustic Texas charm. Smiles were abundant and glasses were raised in “Cheers” to the bride & groom.
BEST OF LUCK YOU TWO!
Nathan & Kristen: May 17, 2008 (Vintage Villas)
The wedding day began with a few drops of rain…but, as Kristen descended down the aisle towards her Nathan…the sun shot through the clouds. The mood was quiet and sweet. There we big smiles and cheers as the two kissed at just before 8:00pm. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Nathan & Kristen joined the married circuit.
The reception hall was dressed in creams and Granny Smith Apple green. The mood was festive and the dance floor stayed crowded most of the night! Kristen looked just heavenly in her white gown and Nathan was dapper as ever!
Sparklers send the couple off to, as they put it,”Make you people some nieces and nephews!”
Congrats!!!!!!

Assisting with Sledd Photography is just a blast! This was a gorgeous wedding at Austin’s Mercury Hall. The room was crisp in white wall, with robin’s egg blue accents on the sweet round tables. Birds, flowers, photographs and bells accent the centerpieces. The outside was sunny and warm. The little kids ran around and played in the water features. The feeling was kind and simple…and the atmosphere was pure elegance. Just a delight!
